ATMOSPHERE 
This is a conscious gathering catering to all ages, shapes, colours, creeds and forms 

 

This is a gathering of playful, peaceful celebration with the intention of bringing in the New Year with full-power health and happiness.

Under no circumstances will we tolerate any hard drugs, alcohol abuse, or dangerous, disrespectful and unruly behaviour in this space.

We expect every individual to self-regulate and take responsibility for their personal vibe AND that of their friends.

We will have a nurse on site, but hope she will be dealing with nothing more than encounters with friendly bushes which appear out of nowhere. It happens, mos. 

 

NOTE: If you have any intention of getting trashed and consequently behaving in a way which may be harmful or inconsiderate towards other people, our animals, environment and space, then please respectfully bow out now.​

The Directors and Staff of Wild Spirit Lodge reserve the right at all times to immediately remove anyone from our property who we feel is negatively affecting the atmosphere or safety of our other guests.

We have done it before, and we will do it again.​

Please honour and respect these ground rules; they are here for the benefit, safety and enjoyment of all.​

Essential for the Gate, Food, Bar, Craft & Private Wellness Sessions.

There are limited card facilities in the festival grounds so please bring cash.

The farm stall up the road takes cards and there are ATM’S at the two petrol stations nearby in the Crags.

 

BOTANICAL BUDDHA BAR 

Conscious Party Zone

​Only kiff vibes, smiles and cash will be accepted at this bar!

The bar on the Wild Spirit lodge deck will be open daily from 11am-4pm for the Open mic and Pool party sessions.

Thereafter, the Buddha bar in the Campsite will open from 4pm to just before midnight except on New Year's Eve, when it will stay open until 1am. 

Here we sell local, artisanal craft beverages as well as drinking jars with lids -  this is the best way to partaaay without losing the contents of your drink to the dance floor! 

​Alternatively bring your own Plastic or Tin cup as we do not provide single use receptacles at this bar.

No tabs or cards. CASH only.

 

FOOD STALLS 

We will have three or four different food vendors on site.

These stalls will cater to herbivores, carnivores, and everything in between.

All food is lovingly prepared and made to order.

To reduce waste we would appreciate you bringing your own plates, bowls and mugs.

CARS & PARKING

Please Think Green!

Parking is limited so lift shares and carpooling is encouraged.

Join our FB Event Page for lift shares and last minute info.

Please note: Parking inside the Campsite is limited to Camper Vans only.

These sites will be clearly indicated. 

All other cars will be directed to front field parking - Please do not argue with our lovely Campsite wardens about this!

We will have clearly marked DROP & GO zones where you can unpack your car before returning it to Parking at the front of the farm. 

No cars will be allowed to drive in and out of the campsite from 5pm in the afternoon until 10am the next morning during the 5 days of the festival unless directly related to Production.

WHAT TO BRING

  • CUP/JAR for the Bar

  • Cash (for Gate, Food, Bar and Crafts), ID, Ref no

  • Head Torches, LED solar lights and portable Charging station for your phones

  • Bio-degradable/Natural soap and shampoo (we also sell these in our Craft shop)

  • Hats, sunblock and insect repellent (eco-friendly options preferred)

  • Closed shoes for Night Time campsite missions and forest walks

  • Baboon-proof food storage (locked cooler boxes work best)

  • Your own bowl/cutlery/cup or jar for Food stalls and Bar

  • Reusable water bottles (we don’t sell bottled water)

  • Warm clothes, cool clothes and DRESS UP CLOTHES!

  • Umbrellas (for rain and sun)

  • Swimming gear

  • Yoga mats/Rugs/Cushions

  • Personal stash of loo paper

  • Toys (hoops, fire, face paint, dress up, bubbles) 

  • Acoustic instruments, gees, bells and whistles

  • Your best friend and party buddy

WHAT NOT TO BRING

  • Pets 

  • Fireworks

  • Hard drugs

  • Personal Sound systems 

  • Bad vibes or badly behaved friends 

  • Caravans or vehicles bigger than a 4x4

  • Firearms or any other weapons (security will be present)

  • Excessive packaging/plastic/environmentally toxic products

  • NO evil glitter please! Bio-degradable options are available these days

 

​QUICK CHECK LIST

  • To avoid congestion at the gate, aim to arrive & check-in between 11am and no later than 5pm

  • Late arrivals, only by prior arrangement

  • The gate will close at 5pm daily

  • No parking in campsite

  • If you would like to come a day early, or stay on a few days after to enjoy some down time then camping is charged at R180 per night, and should be booked separately from your festival ticket at book.wildspirit@gmail.com. Please let us know when booking that you have purchased your festival ticket.

  • We will be closed to new bookings from the 2nd - 8th of January to allow time for festival goers to continue enjoying the space with fellow festival goers. These bookings need to make separately and in advance also through book.wildspirit@gmail.com.   

  • Please read this whole site thoroughly so you are well prepared for the best time!
